Modernised tradition
In the winery as in the vineyards, the work follows Burgundy tradition in order to let the terroirs express their characteristics in our wines. This traditional approach remains a deeply held value in our domaine and joins our continued efforts to provide you high-quality wines. We regularly bring new techniques and modern equipments more respectful of grapes and wine.
Integrated grape growing
The quality of wines is being played out, to a large extent, in the vineyard : high-quality grapes, carefully and selectively picked will result in quality. It's for this reason that we limit yields, through the pruning of the vines and the rubbing out of unwanted buds. We have always practised integrated grape growing with controls and limitations of chemical inputs, especially by an important soil working.
Wine-friendly maturation process
The work in the cellars is done in the same direction : oenological practices and processes are mostly left to nature by limiting chemical inputs. This is therefore a daily task of controlling and monitoring throughout the entire maturing process in oak barrels : 12 months for white wines and 18 months for red wines.
